Corner Braces

Gable Ends

Garage Door

Header Bar

Header bars are placed at the top of the door frame when an opening on the side is requested as well as when a garage door is ordered.
J-Trim

J-trim is used as decorative trim underneath extra paneling on the sides of carports, around walk-in doors and windows.
L-Trim

L-trim is used as decoration on the ends of regular style carports to provide a finished look. L-trim is also used around the edges of garage doors and on portions of the Boxed Eve model carports.
Lag Bolts

Lag bolts are used in place of rebar or concrete anchors when installing onto a wood platform
Legs

Legs are the lengths of square tubing that elevate the top portion of the carport. 12 Gauge legs come standard as 6 foot lengths, and 14 Gauge comes standard as 5 foot lengths.
Mobile Home Anchors

Mobile home anchors are stronger anchors used on certified carports, and are an option on all other carports. Mobile Home Anchors cannot be used for installations on concrete platforms they are strictly for ground installation.
Paneling

Paneling is 29 gauge steel and comes in standard lengths of 21', 26', and 31', and 13 different colors.
Rebar

Rebar anchors are approximately 3 foot long pieces of Rebar with a 5/8 nut welding on one end that is used in anchoring the carport for ground and asphalt installations.
Ridge Cap

Ridge Caps are used on vertical roof carports to cover the gap at the peak of the roof, where the separate roofing panels meet.
Snow Braces

Snow braces are installed at the center bend of the bow all structures to reinforce the roof. They are also sometimes referred to as center braces.

Carolina carports are made standard with 14 gauge 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square tubing. At an additional cost carports can be made with a stronger 12 gauge 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" square tubing.

Delivery & Installation
All products offered at Carport Nation come standard with delivery and installation included in the price. Normal delivery and installation is within 2 to 4 weeks from the date of order.
 
Here are some things you should know:
 
  • Lot must be level or unit will be installed "as is" on lot. (There will be an extra charge if installers have to dig out or cut frame to level.)
  • Please inform installers of any underground cables, gas lines, or any other utility lines. We will not be responsible for any damage. Customers are responsible for permits or any other restrictions.
  • If land is not level or additions are to be made to carport, a $50 return trip service charge will be added to the balance.
  • A down payment of 10% is required to be paid on all orders.
  • Balance is to be paid in full at time of installation.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, money order and cash. (All orders to be paid at time of installation)
  • No refunds on special order items or down payments.
  • Frame is one-foot shorter than roof length wise.
FAQ's
  Question: How long will it take to get my carport delivered after I place my order?
    Answer: Usually it takes 2-4 weeks from the time the order is received from the dealer, and no longer than 6 weeks.
  Question: I'm pouring the cement slab for my carport. What size do I need to make it?
  Answer: The slab should be 3/4" wider and 1' shorter in length.
 Question: What is the highest leg height I can order?
  Answer: Generally the highest leg height we provide is 12', anything higher can be ordered with special approval.
 Question: What margin of adjustment will I have to level my carport?
  Answer: You will have about 3 to 4 inches to adjust with.
 Question: Can I add options to my carport after it has been installed?
  Answer: In some situations. We only provide materials for CCI carports. For all post-instalation additions, there is a $50 service charge. If you are adding walk-in or garage doors your carport must have been installed with legs taller than 6'
 Question: What types of anchors are used?
  Answer: 1. 3' rebar anchor for ground and asphalt installations
2. Double helix mobile home anchors for an additional charge or standard with certified carports on ground installations only.
3. Wedge anchors for concrete installations
 Question: What is the pitch in the center of the carport?
  Answer: The pitch varies depending on the width of the carport. With the majority of our products it could range from 2 1/2' to 4'
 Question: What are the dimensions of the carport, outside to outside?
  Answer: We measure out carports in Width x Length x Height. Example: 18 x 21 x 6 Length dimension is measured by the roof metal having a 6" overhang on each end of the bottom base rail is one foot shorter than the roof. Width is measured from the outer edge of one base railacross to the other outer edge of the base rail.
